Barito river which located in South Kalimantan - Indonesia, is one of the longest rivers in Kalimantan. As the longest river that flows southward from Muller Mountain to into the Java Sea through Banjarmasin and other cities, makes Barito river has an important role for economic growth in Kalimantan, also in Indonesia.

Concerned about the increasing demands of energy logistic, PT United Tractors Pandu Engineering took the opportunity by establishing a company which engaged in ship repair business, named PT Patria Maritime Industry. PT Patria Maritime Industry was established on June 1st, 2011 with 99,9% major share owned by PT United Tractors Pandu Engineering. The shipyard is currently located in Sei Jingah Besar, Tabunganen South Kalimantan to cover the needs in coal ship repair in kalimantan.
