As an entity of the Corporation, YKK Fastening Indonesia Group (FIG) was established in 1972. Founded in 1934 by Tadao Yoshida, YKK Corporation began as a slide fastener trading company called San-S Shokai. YKK itself stands for Yoshida Kogyo Kabushiki Kaisha. YKK now operates in more than 132 affiliated companies in more than 70 countries, representing 672 plants and offices, and expands it business into new fields. YKK Fastening Products global operations are distributed across 8 region; Nort, America, South America, Europe, Middle East, Africa, East Asia, South East Asia, South Asia, Oceania and Japan. This enables us to integrate local characteristics into our business activities and allows marketing to be conducted more efficiently.
