Deskripsi Pekerjaan

Identify and develop talent within Import department to secure a succession plan that contributes to successful future IKEA growth.
Play an active role in creating the Retail Logistics action plan and setting goals in Import that deliver on the country business plan and the commercial calendar.
Be an active partner in the creation, planning and implementation of the country commercial calendar and follow up on market activities to always secure highest possible availability of goods at lowest cost.
Regular review of performance with commercial and supply partners as well as with customs brokers, identify and follow up on any necessary corrective actions to ensure agreed goods availability goals are achieved.
Together with the commercial team secure the preconditions in all sales channels for a smooth and timely range renewal process and timely sales start of new range and vitality packages.
Actively research new rules and regulations in Indonesia and consult port authorities, and customs agencies to ensure that the company is in compliance with freight and shipping guidelines and company policies.
Understand the import regulations and impact on the business, review import and duty calculation as well as detailed declaration.
Provide leadership in the implementation of new customs privileges and or import regulations/restrictions.
Manage and maintain good relationship with all concerned government units and support audit activities which required by Customs.
Update Customs and other relevant regulations regularly to ensure smooth operations with minimize impact/penalties.
Determine appropriate import compliance measures and oversee their implementation in the country (i.e oversee the organization and retention of various import control and compliance, product classifications, licensing documents, correspondence with local authorities, etc).
Initiate and improve for the better Customs process efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Live the IKEA values and nurture a strong and living IKEA culture that values the diversity of customers and co-workers and inspires extraordinary achievements in the department.

Persyaratan

Min. 5 years working experience in Import, and 2 years in managerial level in established company.
You have excellent knowledge of import regulations & operations in Indonesia and their impact on retailing.
You show strong leadership in the undertaking of required customs & import compliance initiatives with oversight on customs & compliance activities.
You understand Free Trade Agreements and how to implement them into the daily business.
Preferably you have a PPJK certificate, and any other Import licenses.
You are able to work and adjust in a fast changing environment.

You are fluent in English and Bahasa.
