Senior Database Administrator

Deskripsi Pekerjaan

Ensure the reliability and integrity of database backups to meet business recovery point objectives
Implement technologies to for replication architecture (transactional replication, change tracking)
Manage database security and permissions across multiple environments
Review and execute T-SQL code submitted by various engineering teams
Contribute to our internal knowledge base by documenting operational workflows and troubleshooting guides
Support an environment with a mix of high availability and disaster recovery solutions (Availability Groups, Failover Cluster Instances, log shipping)
Proactively monitor and resolve database alerts
Triage database health and performance issues and troubleshoot database outages as they occur
Automate routine DBA tasks using scripting such as PowerShell
Participate in a 24×7 on call rotation

Persyaratan

6+ years hands on experience as a ORACLE / SQL Server DBA
Solid understanding of relational database design and concepts
Familiarity with HA & DR solutions available within ORACLE and SQL Server and experience implementing them (AGs, FCIs, log shipping)
Experience working on cross-functional teams on projects such as server migrations, version upgrades, and shared development environment refreshes
Experience supporting a transactional replication environment
A desire to learn performance tuning methodologies and gain experience optimizing database code
Collecting, monitoring and analyzing systems performance data a plus
Passion for improving complex geo-distributed systems, people and processes around you
Understanding about security on database
Understanding and experience with Golden Gate, Oracle Data Guard and RAC
Having Certification like OCA, OCP and Microsoft SQL is prefered
