Responsible for a lot of the administrative funcations, such as plan, direct, and coordinate the administrative functions of an organization.
Make sure everything is running smoothly, from the day-to-day responsibilities of everyone in the office to managing a small administrative staff
Maintain employees’ records including their individual insurance records and all other pertinent business information should also be on file.
Help provide management guidance to managers, making sure that department and teams are as healthy and functional as possible.
Oversee the recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of new staff such as advertising open positions, interviewing and hiring candidates and setting aside hours devoted to training the new recruits
Payroll comes under the responsibilities of the human resource office
Consult with top executives on strategic planning and serve as a link between an organization’s management and its employees
Understanding of human resources programs, such as compensation and benefits plans
Make official updates to policies and to suggest changes to policies when they no longer serve the company or the employees.
